Queensland MP speaks against nuclear power

Do you support nuclear power?
Westside News 22 Sep 09 IS nuclear the future for Australia? Last week, Federal Member for Ryan Michael Johnson told Parliament he believed that most westsiders would support nuclear power.

Federal Member for Moreton Graham Perrett disagreed.
“I won’t speak for the good people of Ryan, but I can guarantee the people of Chelmer, Graceville and Sherwood want nothing of nuclear energy,’’ he said.
“As I get around the westside I hear a lot of support for renewable energy, I don’t recall one constituent supporting nuclear.’’
